Once a bastion of controversial and daring works as well as a leading location within the historic off-off Broadway movement of the 60s, 13th Street Rep fell upon disrepair for long enough that many forget it was even in operation. “many have tried to save the old place” Battista said with gravity, a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts with such names as Gates McFadden, William Hickey and Uta Hagan as his teachers and mentors, “but now we have a team in place to bring 13th Street back and beyond !!” he concluded in his usually powerful and inspiring tone. >> READ THE FULL STORY

Congratulations to Czech artist Jana Hunternova and her collaborator, 13th Street Rep artistic director Joe Battista, on the success of Jana's short film, Strangers In Motion. This riveting rumination on the NYC Subway System debuted September 5th and was the recipient of a Prague Film Festival award. KERIELLE SOLLECITO
Assistant Production Manager
Assistant Production Manager
Kerielle Sollecito has had a love for the theater and arts since she was a little girl, putting on her own shows for her family to endure, as her younger sister would work the makeshift curtain.
She was destined to be an actress. Kerielle went on to perform in many productions at a local theater in her home town, even getting nominated for a Perry Award for ‘Best Youth Actress in a Play” for her role as Jane Bennett in Pride & Prejudices. With her quick and witty humor she found a real love for Improv. She attended multiple Improv classes where the group would write and performed their own shows. Kerielle wanted to learn it all. After working many different positions and performing in a theater for years, she decided it was time to expand her knowledge. Kerielle packed up and move to the big city. She went on to graduate from The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, where she received an AOS Degree in Film and Television Performance. Shortly after graduating she was welcomed into the 13th Street Repertory Theater. Kerielle is ecstatic about the arts and continues to grow and learn. |
