JENNIFER JOHNSON: Jen made her musical theater debut playing Maude in the McClancy-Tyro Producution of Sugar. This was followed by a dramatic turn as Abigail Williams in The Crucible (McClancy-Tyro) and a return to musical comedy as Queen Aggravain in Once Upon a Mattress (McClancy-Tyro). Jen also appeared as Vanessa, the woman of easy virtue haunting Woody Allen's dreams in Play It Again, Sam (Chappell Players) and the very virginal Robin in Under the Yum Yum Tree (Parkside Players). Among Jen's voiceover credits are the Storyteller in the short film Frolic and Fall (Freighter Load Productions), and numerous educational tapes for publishers McGraw Hill and Prentice-Hall. Facility with non-regional American dialect also landed Jen a role dubbing a pilot for MTV's Asian market, MTV English. Jen is currently appearing as the Queen in Will Bartlett's musical comedy Rumple Who? at the 13th Street Repertory Company and is writing a play, Curious Pixie Savors the Flavor of Her Own Bad Behavior. |
