Robert Kreis

Robert Kreis is The 13th Street Repertory Company's Associate Artistic Director and Music Director. Mr. Kreis has had a long and varied career in theatre as director, playwright and composer. His play, The Dream, which he directed, premiered at New York's UBU Repertory Theatre in 1991. Mr. Kreis also directed A Man for All Seasons, Light Up the Sky, The Man Who Came to Dinner, Witness for the Prosecution, Father of the Bride, Orwell This Evening, Harvey, 1776 and Real Inspector Hound. He was the musical conductor for both My Fair Lady starring Rex Harrison and Camelot starring Richard Burton. Elektra Records recorded his Background and Incidental Music for Film and Television. Mr. Kreis has also directed many plays and musicals at 13th Street Repertory Company.
