Spring Semester ’01      Private reading- Theater Education   

Develop a private reading outside of the standard curriculum at Oberlin College of Arts and Sciences and the Conservatory that focuses on theater education for children (elementary- high school); observe and document various ways of teaching theater to children; research and study methods of theater education as used in public and independent schools; examine the psychological effects of theater programs in schools; present the findings of the research to a committee; develop a manual on the incorporation of theater education into a public school curriculum.   Oberlin College, Ohio

 

Spring ‘00                     In-Service Training on the Representation of  Native Americans in Theater   

Co-develop study sessions on the social and historical misrepresentations of Native Americans in Peter Pan; collaborate on developing resources that provide accurate representations of Native Americans for audiences; examine and present supplemental discussions for audiences on theater as a medium to convey positive values.   Oberlin College, Ohio
